The National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) voted at the 2019 NAPBS Annual Conference to approve the rebranding of their name to the Professional Background Check Association (PBSA). This change will transition the company into a global organization which was initiated 12 years ago by creating an international committee and three international chapters. This rebranding will be accompanied by a new logo and website, which you can view here.

The PBSA is the only association of its kind and is a trusted resource for background check industry professionals. Their growth will help to expand expert background check knowledge on a global level, helping to standardize industry best practices.

“In today’s global economy, information moves faster than ever before and the opportunities and challenges facing the screening profession often have ripple effects around the world. The new PBSA brand speaks to our ability to transcend borders and symbolizes our modern approach to screening, privacy, and data security, and the technology our industry embodies,” states PBSA Chair Bon Idziak.

What Is the PBSA?
