My son's 17 year old half-sister has moved in with us this June! She decided to leave the Chicago area where shootings were taking many of her friends, and move to a safer and much better area with her younger brother. She's enrolled in a good school, she's working at a good job, and she's doing so well! I consider her my other daughter, I've known her since she was 8 years old, she's called me "mom" since then. We are a family of 4 now, and I'm so happy to have her here!
