FAVORITE THINGS PARTY
The DISA WE Annual Favorite Things Virtual Party returned on December 14, 2023. Last year, DISA’s Women Empowerment (WE) Alliance worked hard to host a fun event for DISA WE members to socialize across all locations with a little holiday cheer, as well as some great takeaways and advice from our breakaway sessions.
What is A Few of Our Favorite Things Party?
Our 'A Few of Our Favorite Things' party (similar to the iconic Oprah list) is a get-together where everyone shares a favorite thing with family and friends. Typically, attendees will bring that item, and everyone will swap their gifts, but we’ve made changes to better fit the virtual format by offering these gifts through drawings! Prize winners had multiple ways to enter. A Few of Our Favorite Things party allowed our members to simply kick back and have a little holiday fun while learning about some neat gifts, and most importantly, having time to meet and chat with other members!

Who are WE?
With our resources and support, the WE Alliance aims to continue to increase the number of women leaders at DISA and is designed as an all-encompassing resource for employees to enhance their growth and professionalism both inside and outside the workplace. Each of us has our own goals and challenges, which is why WE was designed with flexibility in mind. This versatile group supplies you with the resources you need to achieve your goals.
The WE Alliance isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ kind of group, but instead tailors to your individual style by providing a plethora of resources and information for you to pick and choose. DISA’s leadership and executive team have proudly endorsed the WE Alliance and are looking forward to contributing their support as we launch this new program open to both men and women across all DISA locations.
