In celebration of Employee Appreciation Day, we announced 2 ways to play our Employee Scavenger Hunt which promised to be a fun, engaging, and rewarding experience for everyone. Of course, what’s a challenge without rewards? Prizes were awarded at random. As usual, you could win a participation prize for wearing your DISA Blues!
Our 2024 conference, yet again, broke attendance records, underscoring the event's growing significance and reaffirms its status as one of the premier employee screening events in the United States. A milestone for us this year was reintroducing some in-person sessions for the first time since 2020. We're thrilled to report that Day with DISA attracted a total of over 1,800 unique registrations, setting a record. Post-event data confirmed an impressive turnout of 3,700 virtual session attendees and nearly 500 in-person attendees. This makes the 2024 event our most well-attended Day with DISA ever, marking a significant milestone in our journey.
This year's success is a testament to the unwavering dedication and effort of our DISA employees. Their commitment, coupled with the insightful and in-depth content delivered by our expert speakers and the generous support from our sponsors, created an environment ripe for learning, networking, and growth. The feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive, echoing the sentiment that Day with DISA is an event not to be missed.
The UServices team did a Spring Charity Event for the Oncology Clinic at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Victoria Miller and Felicia Thompson led the charity drive and personally delivered the 38 gifts (toys, pajamas, slippers) we collected.
The U Services team received a thank you letter from the hospital.
Happy Spring! We wanted to thank you for thinking of our patients and families in the Oncology Department here at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Please know that it meant a lot to us that you did a special charity event just for our families. The toys you delivered brought smiles to the children undergoing treatment.
The Oncology Clinic at St. Christopher’s provides cancer care for babies up until their early twenties. Some of the children not only have medical issues but their families face financial hardship. Bringing treats and toys makes them know they are not forgotten. It makes an enormous difference to all of us as we are grateful that people care.
We, and the patients and families we work with want to say thank you!!!
Wishing you a wonderful spring season.
In February, we commemorated Black History Month and honored the rich heritage, achievements, and contributions of the Black community to our society and our organization. DISA is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and respect, recognizing the importance of all cultural and ethnic heritages. We are excited to celebrate heritage months with meaningful activities and initiatives that highlight and appreciate the diverse backgrounds that make our company stronger.
Every February, our Houston teams from Sales, Field Ops, Service Center, and Marketing collaborate to promote DISA at the HASC cook-off. This event, hosted by the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC), allows industrial services companies to network and compete. As the event grows, so does our booth's popularity, thanks to our marketing team's creative themes. It's a fun, engaging way to work together, despite the often unpredictable weather.
As the holiday season approached, we were excited to announce our Employee Appreciation Event 🌟 – a festive celebration of our wonderful team and the joyous times ahead! This year, we did something extra special: a Holiday Picture Wall 🎄, and we encouraged each of you to be a part of it.

In the spirit of giving, we wanted to 'Do the Right Thing' by launching a toy donation drive to support those in need within our communities. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference, and together, we can be a beacon of hope and support for those less fortunate. This year’s Toys for Tots campaign kicked off on Monday, November 27th.
Halloween Costume/Decoration Contest 👻 We Unleashed our inner Franken-designer or Werewolf-stylist at our Halloween bashes. We snapped pics of our best Halloween get-ups or devilishly decorated dens and shared them before midnight October 31st. Voting was on November 1st.
