DISA Strategic Update

With our continued growth and expanding suite of products and services, our organizational structure must adapt accordingly. Therefore, we transitioned to a more traditional organizational structure led by functional C-level leaders across the One DISA team.

Our new structure is designed to better align our resources, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance our customer experience.

Virgin Pulse Mini Breaks

DISA offered its first-ever Mini-Breaks sessions. There are 5 sessions, just 10 minutes long to help us take a much-needed break to Find Balance in our everyday lives. These are available in Virgin Pulse. (GHRR will have access in 2024.)

Top Notch Standards of Excellence Awards

Melissa Davis

This is not a personal milestone but rather a picture to share of DISA employees from Indianapolis and Houston who attended the Top Notch Standards of Excellence Awards Event.  The Top Notch Standards of Excellence Awards program held on May 18, 2023, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway/ Indianapolis, IN, celebrates the achievements in the Indiana Union Construction Industry as well as provides attendees with networking opportunities with contractors and TPAs. DISA was a silver sponsor for this event.

NDASA Conference

Jamie Meyer

Eduardo Ornelas, Laura Harder, and Jaime Mayer attended the 2023 NDASA Conference in Bellevue, WA. DISA's Trainers were one of the first nationwide to receive the new and upcoming DOT Oral Fluid "Train the Trainer" Course provided by NDASA trainers. Once U.S. DOT Finalizes the DOT Oral Fluid Testing, our Training team will be one of the first to be capable of providing training to all DISA Collectors and Clients. This is a major step to making oral fluid testing an option for all DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing programs, in addition to urine.

SOE 23 Events

We are thrilled to announce that our Summer of Excellence “DISA Loves Our Communities” campaign has received an overwhelming response! We received an incredible total of 63 nominations from team members all across DISA, each sharing their choices for charities close to their hearts.

This year, we prioritized charities that received multiple nominations, where we knew there was a personal connection to an employee (as a recipient or volunteer) and those that offer substance abuse treatment, help with mental health issues, or suicide prevention. We believe supporting charities that address these interconnected issues will make a meaningful impact in our communities. You had the opportunity to cast your vote and determine which finalist charities will receive donations.

Personal Connections - Our Motivation:

We have been deeply moved by the nominations accompanied by stories from our very own team members. Your heartfelt requests to support charities that have positively impacted your lives have inspired us to align our philanthropic efforts with your personal connections.

By supporting charities that hold meaning for our team, we strengthen our ties to our communities and promote a culture of giving back. We hope this initiative will inspire more team members to become active in their communities and continue to make meaningful social contributions.

We are thrilled to announce the results of our Summer of Excellence "DISA Loves Our Communities" campaign! Your overwhelming response and participation have made this initiative truly inspiring. After receiving hundreds of votes from team members across DISA, we are excited to reveal the five charities that have won a $4,000 donation each!

Without further ado, the winning charities are:

  1. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
  2. Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation
  3. Children's Burn Foundation
  4. Alliance of Therapy Dogs
  5. American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

We are honored to be a part of your efforts to create a positive impact, and we see this as our social responsibility as a company.
