Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Officer who gets energy from recruiting the right candidates and supporting a wide range of HR processes. You know better than anyone how to attract talent and you also have an affinity with HR systems. Is that you? Then keep reading!

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

In short, you ensure that everything within the organization and for our employees runs smoothly; from recruitment and office management to organizing company events. Together with your two HR colleagues in Amsterdam, you are responsible for the full recruitment process of new employee within EMEA. In addition, you support the People & Culture Director with various HR tasks such as onboarding, payroll, offboarding, sickness absence management, and employee changes. In this versatile role, you combine filling vacancies with ensuring that HR processes run smoothly within our fast-growing organization.

A random Tuesday at the office; after a fresh cappuccino, you open your inbox and see a few applications for the vacancy you posted two days ago. You jump right in, reviewing candidates and trying to schedule interviews for later this week. In two weeks, a new colleague is starting in the sales team, so you finalize her onboarding program.
After your second coffee, it’s time for the weekly HR meeting where we discuss recruitment planning, open HR topics, and the annual year plan. Lunch with your colleagues, a nice sunny walk outside, and back to work. It’s time for the meeting to organize the annual company trip. Brainstorming about the dinner location, hotel, and activities (great to be involved)! You spend some more time working on the employee handbook, finally bringing all the separate documents together into one clear and structured document for the entire team. After catching up with colleagues for a bit, it’s already time to head home


 

Expectations

  • You have (the skills and mindset of someone with) a completed bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role;
  • Availability for 20 hours per week;
  • Excellent command of German and English, both spoken and written;
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday/other HR platform is a plus;
  • A hands-on mentality and flexibility;
  • Strong communication and administrative skills;
  • You are proactive, structured, and good at setting priorities.
