Signum Consulting
SIGNUM Consulting has been delivering screening services from our site in Berlin-Mitte since 1998.
Initially, we pursued an investigative approach, which is still reflected in the high quality of the results of our audits today. The company’s founder Eckhard Neumann was awarded the title “Investigator of the Year” by the “World Investigators Network” in 2000.
Over the following years, SIGNUM Consulting became a leading player in the areas of compliance and risk management. Our Pre-Employment and Business Partner Screening services help our clients reduce operational security risks and build healthy international business relationships.
Quality management (ISO 9001) is one of the foundations of SIGNUM Consulting's corporate philosophy. Maintaining close customer contact and regular feedback are just as much a part of the cornerstones of our company as continuous training of employees and quality-oriented infrastructure.
Our ISO certification has made quality and transparency even more central to our services. Our processes are also audited in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
DISA Global Solutions
Signum Consulting's unique expertise and outstanding work did not go unnoticed by its international competitors. In July 2023, the US company DISA Global Solutions acquired Signum Consulting. DISA expanded its international portfolio with the takeover, having itself been active in the background check sector since the 1980s. At the same time, this gave Signum Consulting a significantly greater global reach, as well as access to more resources and technological tools.
Since March 15 2025, we have been operating under the name of our parent company: Signum Consulting has become DISA.
Our brand name is DISA, but, for contractual reasons, our legal form is still Signum Consulting GmbH.
What remains unchanged is our commitment to quality and the reliable, first-class service that our customers have long appreciated.
