How to request a Criminal record check?
At DISA, you have come to the right place to request a Criminal background check. We assist your organisation where necessary. For example, a (potential) employee will receive an email with specific instructions to request a criminal record. However, this process differs per country.
For some countries, a criminal record can be requested online. In this case, DISA will send an email containing the link and instructions so the (potential) employee can complete the online application. A (potential) employee may also have to go to the relevant country’s embassy to arrange the application. In this case, DISA also provides appropriate assistance.

How does it work?
In our screening platform, you can request a screening 24/7. Once the right screening profile has been chosen and the employee’s personal details have been filled in, DISA takes over. This includes all communication and automatic reminders.
Because of the chosen screening profile, the employee knows exactly what input is expected. This way, we guarantee the shortest possible turnaround time.
After receiving the correct data, a screening in the Netherlands or Sweden, with exceptions, takes an average of under 5 working days. Other international screenings often take longer.
In the meantime, you will have insight into the progress of the screening and will receive a clear screening report with our findings.
Integrations with ATS/HR systems
DISA offers the possibility to easily link to another software via an advanced API. So you can easily link other systems your company works with to DISA's International platform.
