This year, we celebrate not just our longevity but our dynamic growth through strategic acquisitions, innovation, and global expansion, continually reinforcing our position as an industry leader.

Each year, DISA takes on new challenges and opportunities, broadening our suite of products and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. In 2024, we’ve put an emphasis on building stronger relationships with integration partners, adding more than 50 integration partners, including industry leaders like Workday, Tenstreet, and Paradox. As HR leaders seek solutions that integrate with existing technology, we are building the future to support these needs.

Earlier this year, we welcomed Castlebranch and Validata Group into the DISA family, enhancing our background screening capabilities, expanding our healthcare industry footprint, and growing our international presence. Last year, DISA extended its global capabilities by acquiring Signum Consulting, further expanding our reach. By establishing a presence in key global markets, we are bringing best-in-class screening and compliance services to a broader audience, helping businesses worldwide foster safer workplaces amidst increasingly complex regulations.

  • 1986: We founded DISA, laying the foundation for decades of growth and innovation.
  • 1992: We created the DISA Contractors Consortium (DCC), a pioneering initiative in the industry.
  • 2002: We expanded our offerings by adding background check services.
  • 2008: DISA made its first acquisition, Drug Screens Etc., marking the beginning of many more to follow.
  • 2010: We addressed the opioid epidemic by offering an expanded opiate panel.
  • 2012: DISA introduced synthetic testing and expanded transportation compliance services, including driver qualification files.
  • 2013: We acquired Operating Tax Systems (OTS), further expanding our services into IFTA (fuel tax), Hours of Service safety compliance, and related areas.
  • 2017-2019: DISA strategically acquired 28 companies, significantly broadening our capabilities and market reach.
  • 2018: DISA launched Day with DISA, an annual HR Employee Screening conference, which has grown into the largest conference of its kind.
  • 2020: We enhanced our transportation compliance services by launching continuous driver monitoring.
  • 2023: We acquired GHRR and Crimcheck, further solidifying our leadership in the employment screening industry. We also made our first international acquisition, acquiring Signum Consulting.
  • 2024: We continued our international expansion with the acquisition of Validata Group and Castlebranch, strengthening our service offerings and presence in the healthcare industry.
