What to expect from this name change?
We understand that change can bring questions, even when it is positive. The core elements of Validata—carefully conducting screenings, continuous innovation, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction—remain just as important.
Existing processes and policies regarding data protection, services, customer data processing agreements, and server hosting remain unchanged. European data will not be accessible to individuals or systems from the U.S. or outside Europe. DISA ensures that European (and local) regulations and legislation continue to apply to guarantee data protection.
The acquisition has already demonstrated our ability to operate more efficiently on an international scale. We now have access to more knowledge, experience, and resources from different continents.
Our online screening platform continues to evolve for both local and international markets. For example, the French language will soon be added!
Who is DISA Global Solutions?
This strategic step enables us to benefit from the services, expertise, and innovative power of DISA and Validata. Together, we strive to strengthen our national and international market position and improve the added value we offer to our clients.
The same expertise, but with a different name
The acquisition of Validata by DISA has several advantages, while retaining Validata’s core values and local expertise.
With local expertise, you can think of:
- We will continue to operate from Amsterdam and also in accordance with strict European laws and regulations. All data processing takes place within the EU, ensuring that customers are compliant with (inter)national data protection regulations, such as the GDPR.
- Our online screening platform, Valluga, will continue to exist, and the management team will not change, which means that the high-quality service we are known for as a company will continue to be maintained. The name of Valluga will change, as this will become the platform ‘DISAInternational’, making it clear to all DISA clients where our specialism lies.
In addition, this step is also in line with our international ambition:
- DISA brings a global network and expertise in international screening processes.
- The integration allows us to leverage a wider range of technologies and services, which in turn results in a faster turnaround time.
The acquisition fits in seamlessly with Validata’s strategy to grow internationally. With our office in Stockholm and now also in Berlin, this step accelerates internationalisation. This step is essential to strengthen the international market position and to better serve clients. In short, the acquisition allows us to retain our (local) expertise while becoming stronger internationally, able to switch faster, and achieving our strategic growth ambitions.
