Examples of questions that may be included
A Statement of Integrity may include questions across several different areas depending on the role, level of responsibility, and the organisation’s risk profile. The purpose is to provide employers with a broader basis for decision-making and help identify circumstances that may be relevant to the position.
- Have you answered the questions truthfully and to the best of your knowledge?
- Are there any circumstances in your background that could affect your reliability or suitability for the role?
- Have you ever been involved in criminal proceedings or financial misconduct cases?
- Have you or any of your businesses ever been declared bankrupt?
- Is your financial situation stable in relation to your income and assets?
- Have you ever been suspended, dismissed, or had an employment terminated by court order?
- Do you hold any external positions, board memberships, secondary employment, or other activities outside your primary employment?
- Are there any circumstances that could give rise to a conflict of interest?
The questions are typically answered with yes or no, with the possibility for the candidate to provide additional information where needed.
It is also possible to tailor the Statement of Integrity with organisation-specific questions based on your business needs.
“Working with DISA internationally helps to screen every candidate via the same way. The system is easy to use and due to the fact that you can create different screening profiles per country, it is easy to adapt to local rules and regulations (for example: data storage in the EER).”
