Through our partner Creditsafe, we can obtain relevant information from the Swedish Companies Registration Office. We can obtain important information about the job applicant's company involvement, such as the company's legal structure, organisation number and its actual existence. In addition, it is possible to check the company's financial stability, creditworthiness and capital assets.
In addition to investigating company involvement, we can help you perform a credit check. By combining a credit check with a company check, you minimise financial risks when recruiting.
Our collaboration with Creditsafe
Creditsafe is a global company and one of Sweden's largest credit reporting agencies. With data from Creditsafe, we can determine whether a job applicant's involvement in a company poses a potential risk. The data collected by Creditsafe comes mainly from public sources such as the Swedish Companies Registration Office, the Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
The results of the company check
The results of a company check can be found in the check report. If certain points arise, we recommend that you always discuss them with a (potential) employee. In most cases, these are innocent discrepancies that are easy to explain.
How do background checks work with DISA?
DISA's international background check software is both simple and effective to use. After creating an account, you select a check profile and fill in the candidate's contact details. We then contact the candidate, who submits the necessary information into DISA's international background check software. Once we have received all the information, the check process begins.

Frequently asked questions about company checks
A complete company check report takes approximately 1-2 days. However, the partial report is available immediately upon completion, both for candidates and client accounts.
During a check, we review the candidate's current and previous roles (e.g. CEO or board member). We also investigate whether there are any financial risks associated with the candidate's corporate involvement.
