This Website Privacy Statement relates to the collection and processing of personal data by Validata Group BV, trading as DISA Global Solutions (hereinafter ‘DISA’) on the website www.disa.com/nl/en. This statement does not cover the screening of candidates.

3. On what basis does DISA process personal data?

DISA processes personal data on the following bases:

  • Consent based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR
  • Legitimate interest based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR

 

4. What personal data does DISA process?

DISA only collects and processes personal data that you provide to us via the contact form on the website, when you sign up for the newsletter, an event or webinar, when you download a white paper or when you have a complaint. In these cases, DISA processes the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • Position
  • Personal data provided through communication with us.

 

5. For what purposes does DISA process personal data?

DISA processes personal data exclusively for the specific purposes for which it was provided:

  • When you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will use your personal data to send you the newsletter periodically. In addition, we may use your data to send you other information that may be of interest to you, such as an invitation to an event, webinar, or current developments.
  • When you have filled in our contact form, we will use your personal data to contact you and/or answer your questions.
  • When you provide personal data to download a white paper, we will use your personal data to deliver the requested document and to contact you about the requested document and DISA's services.
  • When you register for an event or webinar, we will use your personal data to organise this event or webinar and for evaluation purposes afterwards.
  • If you have submitted a complaint, we will use your personal data to contact you to resolve your complaint.

 

6. With whom does DISA share personal data?

DISA uses Marketing Cloud to send newsletters.

DISA uses WebinarGeek to organise webinars.

 

7. Is my data secure?

DISA has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or other forms of unlawful processing.

 

8. How long will the data be stored?

Your data will be stored for as long as it is necessary for the aforementioned purposes (for example, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter).

 

9. Will your personal data be transferred to a country outside the EEA?

No, personal data will not be transferred to a country outside the EEA.

 

10. What are your rights with regard to your personal data?

As a data subject, you have specific rights under the GDPR. For example, you have the right to access your data and rectify it if necessary. In addition, you have the right to have your data deleted in certain cases, for example because you have unsubscribed from our newsletter.

You also have the right to have the processing of your data (temporarily) restricted if it is incorrect or needs to be deleted. Furthermore, you have the option of withdrawing your consent or objecting to the processing of your data.

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about us, you can submit a complaint to DISA using the complaint form on the DISA website.

We would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority about how DISA handles your personal data.
