We’re pleased to announce that after acquiring ten companies in 2018, DISA Global Solutions has started off 2019 with two more acquisitions: The Transportation Advisor and EGS Financial Investigative Services (FIS).
The Transportation Advisor
Effective February 1, 2019, DISA has acquired The Transportation Advisor located in Palmer, MA. This transportation-focused acquisition is complementary to our Transportation Compliance Division. This transaction adds well-respected industry experts to our growing team, further deepens our presence in the Northeast region and brings new services to our portfolio.
The Transportation Advisor was founded over 20 years ago by Lisa Murray, an expert in the transportation compliance industry and frequent contributor to several industry associations. They administer DOT and corporate drug and alcohol testing programs primarily in the Northeast and across the United States. Their client base includes trucking companies, pipeline and utility contractors, and operators. The Transportation Advisor sets themselves apart with their proprietary contractor monitoring database, extensive regulatory expertise, and compliance-focused support.

EGS Financial Investigative Services (FIS)
DISA also acquired the assets of EGS Financial Investigative Services (FIS) based in Metairie, LA on February 1, 2019. FIS is a high-end background and financial screening company that delivers customized, in-depth background investigations, asset and liability investigations, title reports, and pre-employment screening. FIS provides thousands of customers with customized research that assists during in-house due diligence processes, as well as during background checks for executive leadership and financial professionals.
With an experienced team of employees averaging more than 15 years in the industry, FIS brings an impressive level of expertise to their customers. Add in a global team of private investigators, and you’ll see why in-depth background investigations from FIS lead the industry. These services will add to DISA’s suite of background check offerings and expand our services to new target markets.
Jessica Cusachs, Operations Director at FIS, has been with the company for more than 17 years and adds, “Our entire team is very excited to join DISA!
