DSI discontinues its screening activities and chooses DISA as an alternative
Last year, DSI decided to phase out its screening activities towards the end of 2022. This choice was prompted by the organisation’s wish to fully focus on its core business and ensure, together with the sector, that society would have greater confidence in the investment sector.
Since April 1st 2022 it is therefore no longer possible to screen professionals at DSI if the screening is not part of a DSI certification. In regards to the screening activity, the foundation went looking for an appropriate alternative for its clients. After thorough market research and a careful selection process, the DSI board recommended DISA screening services.
However, DSI continues to focus on certifying professionals in the investment sector. Part of an application for certification through DSI is an employment screening. The foundation has chosen to transfer the screenings that are part of a DSI certification to DISA in the autumn of 2022.
The ambition is for DSI to stop all screening applications by 1 July 2022. From this date, DSI will work with DISA for screenings that are part of a DSI certification.
About the cooperation
Gong ceremony to mark the partnership
Stichting DSI and DISA are working together on a fair and reliable investment sector. On the occasion of the partnership, we sounded the gong in the Amsterdam Stock Exchange together with Floris Mreijen, managing director of DSI, on the 5th of July 2022.
“DISA has been offering screening solutions to the financial sector since the start in 2009 in Amsterdam and therefore serves a large number of financial institutions. In terms of content, our screening corresponds to what DSI offers and since screening is our absolute core business, this collaboration is obvious. With the software solutions and service we provide, DSI knows that we can provide a fast and efficient alternative for their customers. The fact that DSI will be working with us is a very special step for both of us, and for us a confirmation of the quality we deliver.”
