Collaboration between Hoffmann and DISA
DISA specialises in validating (personal) data. The automated process of data verification is sufficient for most positions within companies. However, in high-risk positions, it is important that more intensive screening takes place to prevent possible incidents and crises. To this end, DISA collaborates with Hoffmann.
Hoffmann‘s work continues where the process of data verification stops. This ranges from creating a screening policy to interviewing candidates and/or references. Hoffmann aims to support companies in creating ‘a working environment in which the risk of fraud, theft and corruption, as well as bullying or aggression, is reduced to a minimum’.
Hoffman's Risk Method
DISA offers the possibility to expand the pre- and in-employment screenings with the Hoffmann Risk Method. Possible (integrity) risks are identified, such as leaking or reselling information, theft, undesirable side activities and espionage.
Based on the personal interview with both the candidate and any referees, an objective determination is made as to whether the candidate presents an increased integrity risk for the position they are being screened for.
The results of this examination – just like all other screening components – are fed back in the secure environment of DISA and can therefore also be found as part of the screening report.
Why the Hoffmann Risk Method?
The combination of data verification and more intensive background research provides a complete picture of a person. It is a golden tool to limit risks. This is especially important for more serious risk functions, at the level where incidents and crises can have an impact on the entire company or the reputation of the organisation. Hoffmann offers several forms of screening, increasing in risk level. The severity of the screening depends on the risk of the job and should always be in line with this.
