Throughout 2022, DISA Global Solutions produced a quarterly Owner Survey focused on trending topics/challenges to provide facility owners with specific industry insight so that they could make better, more informed decisions for their businesses. By collecting, organizing, and reporting on workplace safety practices from facility owners, employers gain new knowledge by comparing their practices and adjusting their policies to meet industry standards.

We are pleased to announce that on December 9, 2022, DISA acquired Crimcheck, a comprehensive background screening and risk mitigation services provider. Once again, we are strategically expanding our geographic reach, subject matter and technical expertise, as well as our depth of service. This is DISA's 31st acquisition since 2017, complementing our strong organic growth over the same period and accelerating our growth strategy. Additionally, Crimcheck has an extensive network of integrated ATS, HRM, and PEO partners and highly automated user-friendly applications that our combined customers will benefit from significantly.

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has announced that the minimum random drug testing rate for covered employees will be reduced to 25 percent in 2023. This change will be effective from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. No other DOT modality has reported rate changes as of December 27.

Now we’re proud to announce that GHRR earned the coveted number-one spot in the Baker's Dozen Satisfaction Survey for "Overall Enterprise Pre-Employment Screening Leaders" and "Enterprise Quality of Service". The annual survey is noted as the largest and most prestigious ranking of pre-employment services, including background checks, drug testing, and occupational health services.

Effective November 7, 2022, DISA Global Solutions has completed a transformative deal to acquire Global HR Research (GHRR), another industry-leading provider of employee screening services. This is DISA's 30th acquisition in the last five years, complementing our strong organic growth over the same period and accelerating our growth strategy. In addition to expanding our scope of services and balancing our product mix, this transaction also diversifies our end markets, particularly in healthcare. Additionally, GHRR has an extensive network of integrated Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and highly automated user-friendly applications that our combined customers will benefit from significantly.

In the November 2022 elections, Maryland and Missouri voted to legalize recreational cannabis. Arkansas, North Dakota, and South Dakota voted to reject recreational cannabis legalization. Employers in Missouri should carefully review the ballot initiative to ensure they are compliant with changes by December 8, 2022.
