February 19, 2018
DISA Global Solutions vendor partner, Concentra, is now offering Electronic Custody and Control Form (eCCF) capabilities for DOT drug testing. Concentra, one of the largest collection site networks in the nation, operates more than 310 Occupational Health Clinics throughout the US.
We talk and think a lot about workplace safety here at DISA; we offer advanced background and drug screening services with the goal of creating safer workplaces worldwide. This effort is as critical now as ever: Each year, an average of 3 million people experience some kind of injury as a result of their jobs, with injury costs that can exceed annual profit for their employers. Workplace safety is a holistic issue that can be effectively managed by establishing what’s become known as a ‘culture of safety.’
DISA Global Solutions, an industry leader in the background, drug & alcohol screening business has changed the Chain of Custody (CoC) process in order to create a more effective and efficient way of screening.
The following information reflects a combination of data collected from DISA Global Solutions’ 2017 Owners Survey, which was sent to several upstream and downstream owners.
In a recent survey among both upstream and downstream employers, DISA has concluded a number of concerns and thoughts towards synthetics, opioids, and marijuana testing. These results help us guide our clients to receiving better services that are more custom towards their preferences, and the growing trends and changes within the drug and alcohol testing industry.
The transportation industry has a unique set of challenges when it comes to safety. Tractor trailers take skill to properly operate, they’re unwieldly and vulnerable to poor driving conditions, and their sheer size and number makes accidents a reality of the road. There’s a type of accident known as an “underride,” however, that may not have to remain an inevitability.
