How does it work?

In DISA's International platform, you can request a screening 24/7. Once the right screening profile has been chosen and the employee’s personal details have been filled in, DISA takes over. This includes all communication and automatic reminders.

Because of the chosen screening profile, the employee knows exactly what input is expected. This way, we guarantee the shortest possible turnaround time.

After receiving the correct data, a screening in the Netherlands or Sweden, with exceptions, takes an average of under 5 working days. Other international screenings often take longer.

In the meantime, you will have insight into the progress of the screening and will receive a clear screening report with our findings.

  • Step 1: Log in

    Fill in your personal username and password.

  • Step 2: Select a screening profile

    Select the correct screening profile for the candidate.

  • Step 3: Enter the candidate's details

    The candidate's name, email address, and phone number are requested.

  • Step 4: Candidate provides information

    The candidate receives an e-mail with login details and goes through the screening process.

  • Step 5: Screening is processed

    The candidate receives an email with their login details and goes through their screening.

  • Step 6: Screening is complete

    Once the screening is completed, both candidate and client will receive a message that the screening report can be downloaded.

Security and GDPR

Ensuring the best level of security and privacy for all our screening solutions and services is of course fundamental:

  • Safe environment: Personal data security and all screening processes are top priority at DISA. Our screening platform is technologically designed and continuously developed using privacy and security by design. In addition, DISA is ISO 27001 and 9001 certified and has an ISAE 3000 Type II assurance report.
  • Reducing legal risks: DISA operates under applicable laws and regulations relating to screening processes, such as the GDPR and other relevant (local) laws.
     

GDPR compliant screening

GDPR proof refers to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that our screening software is compliant with the requirements of the GDPR. DISA processes certain personal data based on the instructions of the client, who is the data controller.

Nevertheless, as a processor, DISA also has obligations under the GDPR. For example:

  • Processor agreements: These must be signed by each client. These include the basis of the data controller.
  • Transparency: A company must clearly disclose what personal data is collected, why they collect it, and how they handle it.
  • Data minimisation: Only the data needed to achieve a certain purpose should be collected.
  • Data breaches: Data breaches should be reported to the controller as soon as possible.

Validata has its own Privacy Counsel, a separate Data Protection Officer (DPO) and also a processing register.
