Employee Status and Classification

Different Roles

Let's chat about the different types of roles we have here and what they mean:

Understanding Your Role:

We've got a few different job classifications, and we want to make sure you know where you fit in and what benefits you're eligible for. Remember, these classifications don't determine how long you'll be with us, but they help clarify things a bit.

The Basics:

  • Nonexempt Employees: This means you're covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). So, things like minimum wage and overtime apply to you.
  • Exempt Employees: Typically, these roles are managerial, professional, or administrative. The FLSA's minimum wage and overtime rules don't apply here.

Breaking It Down Further:

  • Regular Full-Time: If you're working our full-time schedule, which is between 30-40 hours a week, you're in this category. You'll also be eligible for our full benefits package (with some terms and conditions, of course).
  • Regular Part-Time: Working less than full-time but at least 20-29 hours a week? This is you! You'll get access to some of our awesome benefits.
  • Temporary Employees: These roles are for specific projects or to fill in for a bit. They're full-time but for a limited time. Just because the role is temporary doesn't mean your time with us might not extend, but it doesn't guarantee a permanent spot either.
